After a week of preparing my room, getting ready for open house, district meetings, forms upon forms, the first two days of teaching where you go over rule after rule after rule....and repeat process six times...I was really looking forward to a day of sleeping in. I woke up this morning at 7:00! ARRGH! No way was I getting out of bed...so I forced myself to go back to dreamland and therefore I got up about my normal Saturday time...11:00 a.m. That's right-I am still a teenager at heart. Late nights, late mornings-that's my game. After 100 degree weather around here for almost two weeks, we finally got a little bit of rain...and not so bright sun. YAY! I love those days too. The girls and I are on and off the computer, watching TV, and reading books. We are planning family movie night and happy not to be running around while dear hubby is doing his usual accomplishing things all day. Gotta love him.
Stay tuned for MONDAY when my first official day of teaching curriculum begins....I am READY! (I think)

Ah, lazy days...I love those. I too am glad for the relief in temps and the final arrival of rain. Hope you have a fun Sunday WITHOUT me. :(
I will not have a fun Sunday without you. :( I will be in my classroom working SOME...feel free to come on down and see it! :)
I will take mom to lunch and then come back-that is the plan so far!
You can't work in your room. You have to lay around in your jammies and rest your feet for tomorrow! My kids loved their new school by the way. Love hearing about your new teaching experience. I can't wait until you get into your regular teaching schedule. I am going to sign up to sub. Fun times.
I hope that your first day of "actual" teaching goes well. I know you will be great with the middle school kiddos!
