Jean 3, two months younger than Jean 2, a year and five months younger than me just celebrated her 35th birthday.

She is much like the butterfly pictured. She loves beauty, art, creativity. She is an old soul in a young body, always has been. When she was a young teen she had fascination with old purses, scarves and jewelry. She was cool retro before the celebrities were. She has always created. She made me the coolest little box when we were 13 (her) and 14 (me) that I was supposed to put little pieces of paper in it with wishes written on it. My first one I put in it said "I wish we could be friends forever." Apparently the box worked! She is also an adventurer. She and I grew up similarly in that we moved cities, states, houses, lives more times than most. It was during one of those moves that she and I met....she was a third or fourth grader living in a small town in Missouri. We clicked. And again, when I moved to that same town and she moved back there again (like I said we moved A LOT) we clicked again. A year or so later, we widen our circle, Jean 2 being in the midst of it. Twenty one years later, here we are. Jean 3, along with her husband and two children, now moves often for her husband's job...the adventurer still lives within her, but now with a strong root system here in our area. She is must like the butterfly, flitting in, bringing beauty and joy. Happy Birthday Jean 3!

Oh, my...what a precious gift from you. Thank you!!! You have no idea how much that surprised me and WARMED MY HEART! You both have always been so wonderful through all the many stages of friendship we have seen. It is one of my greatest pleasures in life to call each of you wonderful women, "my friend". Thank you for...well...thank you for EVERYTHING!!! Love you and can't wait to give you a great big hug next week:-).

I have always felt blessed that I *widened* the circle. :) We are all so very different-yet so much alike. The stages in life we have shared make me look MORE forward to the ones yet ahead of us.
Happy Birthday Jean 3!
