HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Jean 2 here. And I for one am having the BEST Mother's Day. Yesterday, the five of us spent the day at Branson Landing as a family. It was a fun day and I found a new favorite place. It took me a while to get down there, but I knew from what everyone said it would be wonderful-and it was. We stayed until it was dark so we could enjoy the lights.
Today, I get to spend Mother's Day how it should be. With my mom, sister, and daughter. And I am so excited. H & B's mom picked them up since she is their mom and they are spending the day with her. :)
So we are off to have lunch, take my mom shopping for make up (that is what she wants) and then J and I are going to the mall!!! Just the two of us. This rarely happens and I know she is as excited as I am. We have been looking forward to it all week.
My DH greeted me with the usual ONE funny card, ONE serious card and a good morning Mother's Day kiss. I let him off easy this year. The only thing I asked was for from him and the girls was to pick out my outdoor flowers and plant them-so I don't have to. I am all about *services*! :)
So here is to all you -the wonderful Mothers out there that know how to feel love and pain like no one else! To all the nights you go to sleep feeling *guilty and overwhelmed*, to all the days you spend *wondering what they were thinking* and then you take one look at them and melt, to all the time you spend on the phone *scheduling events*, to all the time on the road *you are driving to and fro with their friends in tow*, to all the *worrying if you are raising them right* and hoping they *do as you say, not as you do*, to all the times you *fear rejection for them more than for yourself*, to all the times you *wish it were you that was sick or in pain*, to all the times *you thank God for your children.*
