Jean 2 here. Here I am married SEVEN years. I still can't believe it has been that long but then again...at times it truly seems like forever.
First of all, update on the previous post....hubby and I are doing fine. He doesn't like me going OUT but our anniversary is not ruined. WHEW!
In fact, we are not suppose to buy gifts for our anniversary, we agreed just to spend the day together and we normally go on a little trip. But this is Easter weekend and I helped with a baby shower last night. Bad timing this year.
So-today I woke up and found two cards (one funny and one very sweet) and a Helzberg box. Hmmmmmmmmm....for our 5th wedding anniversary I got a diamond/garnet ring that symb0lizes five years...I never knew this until that day. I also didn't know that white sapphire symbolizes SEVEN years so this year...a white sapphire necklace with seven white sapphires. It is so pretty. I wish I could take a pic and post it.
So-what did my hubby get? A card made on the computer with Jean1's help and the top seven reasons why I love him. I guess today's dinner and movie will be MY treat! :)
I have had a great seven years with this man! We have for sure had our ups and downs but he is a keeper! :) Not just for the gifts, I just happen to like the way he looks at me MOST of the time. :)

awww, that's so sweet. I'm glad you didn't find the gift early. ;) He's such a good guy and you both make each other very happy...also very frustrated, angry, grouchy, silly, crazy, sickly, etc..... (hee hee, haw haw)

Happy Anniversary. I told J he better be calling Doug up because my 5 year is in May and even though I bought myself a $250.00 camara today that was susposed to be for my anniversary and mothers day, I am kinda hoping he surprises me.
Happy anniversary! It's seven for us this year, too. I am bitterly jealous of the jewelry, but I will try to contain my rage. Could your hubby give my hubby a HINT? And I may steal your card idea...that's sweet!

You need to give Michael a call. Our eight year will be coming up in July and although he is good about getting me something, its never what I ask for. I say necklace, I get a braclet, not that I don't like them, just do not wear them very often!
