Jean 2 here. ONE thing after another. Literally. As you know from previous post-the 7th was my 7th anniversary. On that day, I get a phone call from my ex husband who is also J's father. We have a situation with J. She is not hurt physically. But some um..not so nice of a guy decided she wasn't being NICE to him anymore so he SPRAY PAINTED HER CELL # ALL OVER A BUSINESS BUILDING (and of course put "4 a good time call this #-UGH" in the town we live in. I remained calm at the time while I was digesting this information. A hundred things running through my mind of how someone could do this to my daughter. She is a good girl who gets good grades, tows the line, and harms no one. We have no proof this um....not so nice boy....(would prefer to call him something else) did this to my daughter but we have a general idea. My ex husband immediately gets her # changed-luckily her name was spared. So-no harm can be done at this point. J is handling this better than me. By Monday-I am furious. I tell ex husband to GET THE COPS. He does-and get this....they cannot do anything about it. Hmmmmmmmm....and we wonder why people do these things. I understand we can't accuse and we have no proof-but it is hard to digest that they can't do ANYTHING about this. Just for future reference to all you tax payers. :) This boy will not get away with this. I have tried to call his parents...not to ACCUSE...just to let them know this is what we have heard...and I cannot get a hold of them. Enough of that. If you have suggestions...please share.
On Wednesday my daughter J does track and accidentally runs her mouth into a boy's head. Her lip is busted WIDE open. The nurse calls from school and thinks stitches. J has never been hurt like this. Again- a hundred things go through my mind as I rush from my school to hers. I get in the office and J is calmly sitting there with a bag of ice on her lip. Her eyes are pleading with me to calm down. So I do. The nurse shows me the damage. I feel nauseated. I take her to the clinic and GOD BLESS GLUE-no stitches-YES!! So-15 minutes, a little glue and $75.00 later -we are out of there.
Many other things happened this week to send me into a um......not so nice mood.
Bottom line-I am upset with our lack of justice but happy we now have that GLUE! Amazing stuff.
Have a good week all you faithful readers. And pray I have a BETTER week!:)

Oh my goodness! Poor J! That is just terrible. AND her lip...what a week! Please shoot me when Laura turns 13. I cannot handle it.
What a week! I hear ya there! I know that it's tough to see our kids go through stuff, probably harder on us than it is on them.
But I also remember the feeling of being singled out (remember the notes in my locker?)...really stinks. I'm thankful that she has parents on her side. :)
I think you have handled this with more grace then you give yourself credit for....
What a week! Hopefully this week is going better! Teenage years are rough, you have heard my stories with my 12 year old daughter!
