Daylight savings brings loss of sanity

Jean 1 here.

It's been said time and again, "Time Keeps on Slipping Slipping Slipping Into the future..." (insert Steve Miller band playing in the background). Well, here we go again, as most of you all know by now, the time is coming Sunday to "spring ahead" for daylight savings purposes. However, not only are we springing ahead an hour...we are also three weeks earlier than usual. Which, to me, begs the question "what do we do with all those earlier mornings and later nights?" It's not like it's actually warm enough to be outside playing in the prolonged daylight. Nor, is it summerish enough for the kids to take an early morning swing on the swing set. Hmmmmmmmmm.

An another note, Christi is now four. I won't regale you with glorious stories of my last baby and how she was so beautiful when she was born, nor will I tell you all about how she has grown to be both joyful and comedic. I will also avoid filling you in on the detailed birthday list of gift offerings, including the Hello Kitty plethora of items, Angelina Ballerina drawing kit and the animal kits. No. I'll simply tell you that I figured out that ten years from now, when she's turning 14 (!) I will most possibly be a grandma or near being one..since by then my oldest will be 23 at that time! (gulp! cough....choke) Not only that, I will be 46. Oh man! Where has the time gone?

Ah, my sweet sweet neice. I love her so much and am so blessed to have her a part of our lives. It will be so wonderful to move up the street from you and take advantage of seeing my neices and nephew more often. I love the time we get together. Good job, sis!
