100 posts...

Wow. I can't believe this is the 100th post for this blog. Jean1 and I started this blog last summer after our trip to San Francisco. This blog was designed for our commentary, to bring us closer as friends and invite our other friends to join us. We think we are two funny ladies who have so much to share about life. Funny how hard it has been to find the time to share the wealth of knowledge and humor we have. :) That being said...it is always my intention to blog about my daily life DAILY, things I go through that are challenging, entertaining or even boring day to day stuff. That obviously is not happening. I am a busy woman (as most women are) and when I am out and about something happens to me that I know I should blog about...and it sounds so funny at the time and when I sit at my computer...I can't get it together. This is why you are now reading my unnecessary rambling! :) Here are some things that are going on in my life....
1. Spring Break is coming up NEXT week! YIPEE!
2. My dear hubby turns 40 on the 24th. He doesn't like to talk about it much-he isn't depressed as that would drive me nuts-but would just prefer to ignore his big day. Not going to happen as I ever so gently remind him every day that I can't believe I am going to be married to a FORTY YEAR OLD! I won't be mean (LOL) but it will be celebrated. I am simply going to treat him to a well deserved massage by a professional and make him a nice dinner. He is not a man that wants a fuss on his birthday. So-I can oblige.
3. April 7th is our 7th wedding anniversary-for our anniversary every year we don't buy each other anything-we take a small trip together. Last year was Hot Springs-this year-possibly TEXAS.
4.We have 43 days left of school ( I think) and that is always something to look forward to. :)) I have made plans upon plans for Spring Break and my summer. I am aniticipating some fun. I have a reading list of books I plan on reading. Nerd! Perhaps so. But there will be days of shopping and hanging out.
5. We did get our taxes done yesterday-a nice enough refund to add a room to our house. So-yesterday we spent some time at Lowes looking for the french doors and today I went to Peir 1 with Jean1 looking for some furniture. I am thrilled to be getting MY own little corner of the world in my house beside the pool. AAAHHHHH!
6. We are planning our family vacation to Florida. Do we drive or fly? That decision is still in the air.
7.Oldest daughter is playing Volleyball 2-3 nights a week. She is studying hard and doing well in school.
8. Middle daughter is running track and has practice every night of the week. I sometimes wonder if she is really mine...I wouldn't run unless someone was chasing me with a knife-and I would probably give up and say *just kill me and get it over with.*
9. Middle daughter is also getting braces next month and is upset she has to miss a night of track practice to do it-declares it *breaks her momentum*-again-is she mine? However-straight A report card! Again-is she mine? :)
10. Youngest daughter is a constant source of joy and strife. And if she is reading this-she knows she is. In fact, if you are reading this-STRAIGTEN UP ALREADY! She will be playing my sport of sports-softball and I hopefully will be coaching.
It looks like blogger is going to allow me to make the list above. Once published-we will see what happens. Just know that I tried! Again! :)
And in the words of an old friend to all readers-create a great week!

100...what is going on here...how did we manage to come up with 100 entries to bore people with? Must be a sickness of ours. Had fun, as always, today and look forward to what we come up with to write about for the next 100 posts. Maybe toenail fungus and brushing our teeth too hard?

NAG NAG NAG! I am definitely going to discuss the brushing the teeth harping in my next blog along with your UNhealthy fear of my driving! HA!

I soooo agree with you about running. Although, you'll be shocked to know that I actually ran track my junior year in high school. You won't be so shocked to know that I sucked.

And doesn't D want a BIG, GAUDY birthday cake to celebrate 40? Ha! Where's that Mad Hatter order? It's only $200.

Get a boob cake or something equally tacky. I am with you guys on the running. It is for freaks and those of us being chased. If you drive make sure you take your ipod, to drown out the whining and screaming in fear, if you are driving.
