Jean2 here. I cannot believe it is MARCH! As a teacher, that means many exciting things. The fourth quarter is here and the end is near. YAY! I am so ready for spring break-which is coming up in two and a half weeks. The first time our school has had a week Spring Break that cannot be ruined by make up snow days. I am ready to sit back, read, go to the mall (Starbucks), hang out with the family, have lunch with friends, be by myself.....so many things to plan and do. Once school is out I will have a FULL week off before summer school starts. Yes-I teach summer school EVERY summer. I love to earn easy money and I really enjoy it. A nice laid back atmosphere, no grading, no pressure, and four field trips. Makes summer short-but two checks in July is always a treat. I tell my family we have to suffer in June to play in July! :) By the way...a family vacation is in the works for hopefully Florida in July...laying on the beach. YES! I would rather do that than Disney World-too expensive and we have done Disney Land.
Last year was the *Mall of America*-one of my favorite places to vacation and something we will most likely do again.
So-did March come in like a lion or lamb? A tad bit chilly today! But the sun did shine off and on. I hope for a peaceful Spring-as the storm season begins-I pray it is not near as bad as our winter here in the midwest.
Happy March to all!

Me...me...me! I'm ready for spring. Come on spring. NO MORE WINTER...but no tornados either. Where is that season that is just nice weather, occassional showers and pretty flowers? I want that one!

Ooh can I go too? I love the beach and so do my kiddos. We are thinking about Gulf Shores. Maybe you should get a pedicure over break. I on the other hand am dreading spring break...5 days w/ all 3 kids. HELP!
You MUST go to Seaworld and Universal Studios...the girls would LOVE IT. Universal beats Disneyworld any day!
