Oh what a great Thanksgiving. My FIRST time cooking MOST of the meal and it turned out fabulous (if I do say so myself and I do-lol). My mom, stepdad, and sister and nephews all came over and enjoyed this holiday with us. I enjoyed entertaining and cooking for them and plan on doing it at Christmas as well.
Now that the festivities of Thanksgiving are over...tomorrow is the day...the day hubby and I get up at 3:00 in the morning and BOND. And I truly mean this. We used to hit those 6:00-11:00 sales and I thought THAT was early. Apparently, some stores didn't think so because now they are starting as early as 4:00. WOW! And I have heard some are opening at midnight. What fun! I used to work at Wal-mart and truly enjoyed working during the holiday season. Time flew and Christmas was in the air. I enjoy shopping it more though. And I am *thankful* that my hubby is willing to share in the experience with me. We have looked at adds all day and developed a strategy based on the needs of the three girls and ourselves. :)
To all you shoppers out there-go get'em-and I wish you a safe shopping day! Jean1-maybe we will cross paths-I just hope we are not trying to grab the same pair of boots and our friendship is tested...! ;) Jean3-you are missed this Holiday season here in this neck of the woods. I will think of you when I am at Bath and Body! ;)

Are you insane? Aaron got up and went to Wally world at about 6:30 and got a dell laptop for $380. How awesome is that?
ARGH! I wish I had known they were that cheap. And yes-I am a little *insane*-surely you remember! ;)
I miss you too! Especially this time of year. :-) I'm glad your Thanksgiving turned out so great!
Man, I love these sales--I'm just as insane as you are--and so are MANY MANY others. Tis the Season...
it was a great day...many great deals were found. I took Nicki with me this year and she loved it!
Glad your day was a good one!
I got up and 1:30, drove to Tulsa and stood in line. I stood in line from 3:30 am until 4 at Kohls. Then on to stand in line from 5:15 til 6 at Target. Then I went on shopping until 6:30 pm! Talk about a supper shopper! I had a GREAT time and will do it again!
