NEW APPRECIATION

Jean2 here w/ a whole new perspective/appreciation on mothers of younger children. Yes I have been there but I have FORGOTTEN! I decided to MAKE A DAY out of TODAY and CONQUER everything that needed to be done. When I do this-I do feel better about ACCOMPLISHING something. The days AGENDA....decided to try a new church since a friend of my DH's preaches there, pick 5 year old nephew up after church and go to THE MALL. Since nephew's b-day is tomorrow we took him to "Build a Bear" and he created BATPUPPY (puppy w/ batman suit)HA! So cool! Then took 13 year old J to Sears to have TEEN pics done. They are precious and beautiful but that was a TWO hour process. My patience was thin and money going fast! Spent rest of day at mall shopping for SPIRIT week for girls with nephew in tow. Nephew does not like mall. I do everything I can to make this a pleasant bonding experience but fail miserably. He was EVERYWHERE. In the clothes and on the floor. Is he a great kid? YES! He is just a 5 year old stuck at the mall with psycho aunt and family for SIX HOURS. His word exactly..." I am SICK of this place!" I agreed but our agenda was not completed. My point-hats off to you moms w/ children under the age of 5. Everytime I started to get stressed which is easily done-DH or daughters rescued me. They were terrific at it. For some reason, they don't like to see my unhappy! Hmmmmm....LOL! I am now enjoying some quiet time at the computer after rushing home to get everything put away and organized before DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. I now shall go grade UNIT REVIEWS!!This weeks agenda...2 cheer games, eMints training, grad assignment due, mothering, wifing (new word), and teaching and next weekend... J's B-day party AT THE MALL with five other teenager girls!! Gah! Priorities need realigned! I will blog MAYBE NEXT WEEK to all my DEVOTED readers!! HAHAHA

Hahaha! And he's FIVE! I'm looking FORWARD to five! You are welcome to take my 2 and 4 year old out in public ANYTIME...now THAT is work.

Anyway, I'm glad you have a new appreciation for caring for young children...so you don't think I'm just sitting at home on my rear eating bonbons (well, only from 11:30 to 12:30, anyway).

Love,
One of Your Devoted Readers :)
