Coffee Break

I am sitting here drinking a second cup of coffee and watching Andy Griffith before heading out for the day, earlier I watched Leave it to Beaver. Now, this may sound like it's a pretty boring post in the making, but here's where I decided to post a homage to Stacey by making a list of how I am NOT like June Cleaver nor Bea Taylor.

1. I do not wake my kids up for school in a dress, heels and pearls....More like a night gown, bed-head and REALLY bad breath.
2. I do not enjoy cooking....AT ALL.
3. I have not made milk and cookies as an after school snack...Unless I was craving them.
4. I do not wear heels around the house...Or outside of the house unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
5. I have not ever liked my husband to order for me.
6. I do not like being told that I am "being silly" when I want to buy a new anything.
7. I do not want to wait for a man to drive me somewhere....As a matter of fact, I prefer to go by myself.
8. I do not say "wait till your father gets home"....They had better be as afraid of me.
9. I not have dinner on the table every night at 6...Or 7 or 8....hmmmm, maybe I should have dinner on the table sometime (note to self, plan to put dinner on the table sometime in the evenings at least once a week.)

I know there are more ways, but I've run out of ideas and the show is over, which means it's time to put on some makeup, shoes and deodorant and head out the door. I'm off to Jean 2's house for a few hours of fun.
