BLOG FREEDOM

I have decided not to worry too much about blogging about really interesting topics for people to read. I am going to use this as a tool to vent problems and gather some great ideas from friends. I am not going to try to be funny or entertaining. Just ramble on and on...after all that is how I talk. I love to talk. Communication is so important in everything in life. That is why I love to be around my friends so much. We can talk about nothing and laugh. They truly "get you" and "accept you." Don't get me wrong-I love my husband and I truly thinks he enjoys me talking to him because he REALLY listens to me. I don't always do the same for him. I often find what he is talking about incredibly boring...or a term from crazy mama (can't remember how to link you to her or I would)..she tells her DH when he is boring her..."this is of no general interest to me." That cracks me up! I have been there to see her do it. This doesn't mean that I don't enjoy talking to my husband. I do. Women just have so much to share, compare, and vent about that men just simply are not meant to understand. My DH knows when he loses me in the conversation and graciously bows out before I go to sleep. I know sometimes this MIGHT hurt his feelings...I often tell him to stop being so sensitive. And no I am not a mean insensitive wife. Just honest. I just like for conversations to GET TO THE POINT and WOMEN know how to do that. Men like unnecessary detail. Detail that I don't always understand and he should know I don't and then he wants to explain it to me-but I am just not interested. Does this make me a selfish communicator? Perhaps! And Jean1-get to the library and get some books to enjoy for when your bloglets go to school (and I will read them after you) OR you could always drive 30 minutes to have a 25 minute lunch with me?

3 Commenting on your genius-ness:

Ok...i'll maybe plan a thirty mintue drive for a twenty five minute lunch...but then i'll need a key to your house to go wait for you to get out of school...'cause let's face it...a thirty minute drive also requires UNO!

You guys are too funny! And you have so much FUN! Tennis? Uno? You're making me jealous now.

Jean 2, I love your ramblings, and I am glad you are still finding time between grading papers and reading those textbooks to BLOG!

But really...could you just write about SOMETHING that's OF GENERAL INTEREST, PLEASE?

Heehee...just KIDDING.

YES, THAT'S IT! Poop! Or sleep. Or McDonald's. That's about how big my world is these days.
