Computers..Razrs...MP3 Players...AAARRRGG!!

Jean2 here talking about the obvious from the title-modern day technology! Not my strongpoint-in fact very much my weakness. Jean1 is a techno nerd (sorry but you are and making fun of you makes me feel better since I have always been moderatley jealous of your techno talents). She has every gizmo out there and amazes me with what she knows how to do with them. I am OVERWHELMED ( a favorite word of mine) by this techno world we live in that I cannot keep up with. For instance, I just got a RAZR phone-DH insisted on it since he now has one too. I am SLOWLY figuring out everything it does, and believe me it does everything but talk to me however if I push the right button it might do that. Jean1 has one of these and of course knows EVERYTHING about them-AARRG-sorry-bitter jealousy. Read the manual she says-HA! Like I could understand that! I just want someone to SHOW ME what to do at least five times and I MIGHT catch on. Someone who is patient. Very patient. Hint Hint to Jean1! I am reserving a day for her to teach me how to use this gadget and I will bribe her with chocolate. My children are excited I have a RAZR-when they come back from their weekend at their other parents houses-they will have to demonstrate PATIENTLY to me what they know. I really don't want to have to throw this not so cheap cellular phone against the wall too many times. Want to know the really scary thing? I am going to be teaching a 5th grade classroom with a computer not only for me, but for all the students. A smartboard, DVD player, fancy printers...YEP-I am educating the future. May we all take time now to pray for my trainer who will slowly become my new best friend. Take that Jean1!!
