NEW CAR! That's right. I got a a new car. And I am thrilled. I must admit I have been blessed with many new vehicles in my life....but I am quite sure this is my favorite to date. It is perfect. A black pontiac G6-GTP-loaded, sunroof, leather, and roomy for my girls. It truly looks classy without the huge price. In fact, I am SAVING money by having this car. $100 a month cheaper and MUCH MUCH better on gas. I never knew I wanted leather seats until I got them. Just something I never considered while buying a vehicle. In fact, I would often say to salesman-if I don't get leather, can you take that off the price? They would say I was crazy for not wanting leather. I now agree.
This car didn't come easy to us. My DH and I shopped for ten LONG hours and much indecisiveness with me of course. I wanted a Toyota, Honda, Nissan , Acura....so forth and so on. He was patient because he knew I would not settle. I found several cars I would fall in love with. Jean1 had to come visit me at one car dealership to bring me back to reality. By then I wanted a Pontiac Saab-not only did she say it looked like a grandma car (immediate turnoff to me) but the price was not right. So we ended up at one of the best know dealerships, where we always buy our vehicles from, and where Jean1's DH works as a finance manager. I took one look at my car and new THAT WAS THE ONE. Finally, I was waiting for that moment. I had to stop and check myself to make sure I wasn't just frustrated from a long day of car shopping. Then I drove it. It is now mine and I FOR ONCE after buying something have absolutely NO BUYER'S REMORSE. I am quite sure this was meant to be my car....and most importantly...it passed the acceptable COOL MOM car with my teenagers. All is well in our carlife! :)

Now that I have a minute, I would like to congratulate you on your beautiful sporty and so NOT a GRANDMA car! Glad you got to see my hubby that night too, since I didn't see him until it was the earliest morning of the next day. (yawn)
I can hardly wait to see your classroom.
Loving my new truck too. Do love your new car and you are sooooo right about the leather. I loved my leather seats.....just one warning, watch out for hot seats and shorts! OUCH!
