Taking a breather

We are in the midst of a break from ice storms, single digit temps and upcoming snow. Our guests have traveled north for a doctor's appt. and will be gone till Saturday night or Sunday afternoon. Their house is still without power, as are quite a few of our friends houses. As a matter of fact, our old house is still without power...friends of ours bought it from us and are now refugee's at another house until power is restored there. After watching the news tonight I learned that we have a rather nice snow shower approaching...so tomorrow we are going to make the most of the day...Daddy is off work, kids are out of school and the roads are clear...sounds like a great day to go out to lunch and go watch a movie. Yippee!
So, what to do with a little down time? For me, it means....

1. rearrange the downstairs living room
2. edit some pictures for a friend
3. blog
4. watch a movie
5. read other people's blog
6. play scrabble
