Oh....My aching head

So, Jean2 has fessed up to her inability to grasp the basic skills of computer/techno usage. (I know, she's sad....Pitiful....tsk, tsk) I have to say that some of this comes from the mindset "if I whine enough, then someone (meaning me, Jean1) will take pity on me and do it for me. This, I must admit, has almost always worked because it was easier than listening to the insipid whine....(hey, you want some cheese and crackers with that whine?). And now the school system has added to my responsibilities by giving her a position that REQUIRES techno abilities. Come on Mr. H....You know I have four kids! You might as well just start paying my counseling fees. As I see a possible day in the life to come"
(phone rings) Jean 1 "Hello?"
Jean 2 "Hey! What are you doing?" (said overly friendly and a bit panicked)
Jean 1 "Oh, folding clothes. What's up?"
Jean 2 "Uhmmmm, what was it again that I need to do to get a picture on my computer?"
Jean 1 (smacking head and groaning) "open the back of the camera, plug in the cable to the camera and then put the USB end into the computer's USB port. Turn on the camera and then it will load the pictures".
Jean 2 "where do I open the camera again?" (said confused..And a bit fearfully)
Jean 1 "What! You've got to be kidding me, I just showed you that YESTERDAY!. (DEEP BREATH) on the left side of the camera, open that little flap."
Jean 2 "oh yeah, ok. Got it. Now WHERE do I put the big end of the cable thingy?"
Jean 1 (sigh) "In the USB port" (pausing......) "on the back of the computer tower"
Jean 2 "Ohhhhhhhhhhh???????"
Jean 1 "it's the long and skinny spot, matches the end of the cable"
Jean 2 "got it"
Jean 1 "are the pictures loading?"
Jean 2 " yes, thanks. I've got it! "
Jean 1 "you're welcome. I'll talk to you later. "
1o minutes later
(phone rings)
Jean1 "hello?"
Jean 2 "uhm., how do i print out the pictures again?"
Jean 1 "(rolling eyes....) ok......
Looks like I'm going to have some fun this year!

I am dying inside at your PERCEPTION of me! hehe-but you might have to ask yourself why I must always feel fearful asking you a question? One step at a time-that is all I want-do not OVERLOAD my brain. If you would quit wasting your patience on your 4 bloglets-you would have some left for me!
