I have been reading this book to my two youngest bloglets, we finished it last night. Now, it's a kids book, but I must admit that it got to me. It was sweet, sad, endearing, lovely and a wonderful way to spend a few minutes a night. I loved being begged to "read just one more chapter, please" and then the intense way they looked when I got to a particularly sad or scary (not really scary, but to a three year old scary) part. I loved the spark of interest in the occasional picture, where they would study it and figure out this part or that. I believe I have found one of a lifetime, one that I will save (glad I bought it in hard back) and read to my grand children, buy as gifts for friends and recommend to others.
